  • Autonomous Line Following Robot

    • Design/built light sensor to mount on RCX brick.
    • RCX programmed in Java to use sensor to navigate autonomously around a circuit.

  • Combustion Engine Monitoring & Diagnosis System

    • Designed & built a circuit board that simulated a combustion engine
    • Designed & built a monitoring and diagnosis sytem for the engine
    • Output displayed using board mounted LEDs and a LabView based control panel.

  • Surface Plasmon Solar Cells

    • Research based project - studying the optical properties of spherical, metallic nanoparticles, for potential application to third generation solar cells.
